Meditation  for  Inner  Peace

I organise meditation courses.  The main objective of the course is to consider the value of inner peace in our meditation and daily life.  We will also look at some practices through which we may achieve and sustain this feeling of inner peace.

The course will contain elements of both Eastern and Western philosophy.  Many of the concepts and meditations come from the traditional teachings of Buddhism, simply because they work so well.  The course will sit easily with all peaceful religious and spiritual beliefs.

The five classes are suitable for beginners and experienced meditators alike.  They are designed as a series, but you may choose to take any one independently.

Each class will last two hours.  There will be a short introduction, then the first session of teaching.  This will be followed by a meditation suitable for the subject for the class.  After a short break, there will be a second session of teaching, to consolidate what has been learned and develop the theme further.  A second meditation will follow.  There will be some opportunity for discussion, to share ideas and experiences.

Cost £50 for five classes. A typical group is about 6 people.
